Stay in the heart of Gudhjem
Therns is at Brøddegade 31 in the middle of Gudhjem, a few steps from the harbour, the shops and the town's restaurants. You stay in a renovated hotel room with a private bathroom and a bathrobe. The rooms are all different, so choose the view and atmosphere you prefer.
Rooms facing the courtyard and the cliff are quieter. The bathrooms in the courtyard rooms are very small; you are also welcome to use the larger bathroom in the corridor. Rooms facing Brøddegade put you close to town life, and several of the hotel's rooms have sea views. Check the specific room category when you book.
At the entrance is Aages Stue, our honesty bar. Help yourself to coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer, drinks, wine and snacks, mainly from Bornholm producers.

Rooms at Therns
Double room with sea view – views over the town and glimpses of the sea.
Family room with sea view – a double bed and a small room with bunk beds for two children, sleeps 4.
Room for 3 facing the courtyard – a double bed and a single bed.
Double or twin room facing the courtyard – small, cosy and quiet rooms.
Double or twin room facing Gænget – a view of a small alley with a cliff wall and greenery. The windows are set high, so there is a little less light.
Holiday apartment for 8 – 3 bedrooms, a small kitchen, a living room with dining area and access to a sunny courtyard garden. Bed linen and towels are included; breakfast can be added.
All rooms have a coffee/tea machine and a hairdryer, and breakfast at Café Plateau is included.
Location – in the middle of Gudhjem
From Therns you step out onto Brøddegade, Gudhjem's main street, with shops, cafés and restaurants right outside the door. The harbour is a couple of minutes' walk down the hill, and the boat to Christiansø sails from there. Gudhjem is not big, so you can walk to most places – including breakfast at Café Plateau by Grevens Dal, a lovely walk of about 5 minutes.
Parking at Therns
You can park for free at the petrol station and Brugsen, or pay to park at the harbour. The bays on the street may only be used for 2 hours, but they are handy for unloading your luggage.
Reception at Førder
Reception is in the Førder shop at Brøddegade 28 – a few steps from Therns. Førder and reception share the same space, so while we help you with your stay you can browse Bornholm products, gifts and clothing. Reception is open 9–17, and 9–21 during the summer holidays. Arrival and check-out
Check-in is from 15:00. Your key will be waiting in your room door, so you can check in whenever it suits you. Check-out is by 10:00 at the latest – just leave the key in the door. If you need help, you will find us at reception at Førder.
Questions and answers about Therns
Can I bring my dog to Therns?
No, dogs are not allowed at Therns. Dogs are welcome in the annex at Grevens Dal and in the Double room in the wing at Skt. Jørgens Gaard (DKK 450 per stay).
Is breakfast included?
Yes, for all hotel rooms. Breakfast is served every day from 7 to 10 at Café Plateau by Grevens Dal. In the holiday apartment, breakfast can be added.
Is there a bar at Therns?
Yes, Aages Stue by the entrance is our honesty bar – just like at Grevens Dal and Skt. Jørgens Gaard. Help yourself to coffee, tea, soft drinks, beer, drinks, wine and snacks, mainly from Bornholm producers.
Which room is the quietest?
The rooms facing the courtyard and Gænget are away from the street. The rooms facing Brøddegade put you close to town life.
