Routes from the hotel
North towards Helligdomsklipperne
The coastal path follows the rocky coast past small bays and viewpoints. A beautiful route for both running and walking – hilly and with the sea next to you the whole way.
South to Melsted and Døndalen
A quieter trip past Melsted Beach and on to Døndalen, where you will find Denmark's largest waterfall.
Up on Bokul
A short walk from town up to the view over the roofs of Gudhjem and the harbour. Good for an evening walk.
Good to know
Gudhjem is built on rocks, so expect more elevation gain than the distance suggests, and take care on the rocks in wet weather.
Breakfast at Café Plateau is ready at 7 a.m. – early enough for a run first.
