Klippen Hotel – Grevens Dal

Grevens Dal has cosy rooms in the main building and the annex. They are generally not large, so choose by view, location and terrace access. If you want more space, Klippen Hotel has larger rooms at Therns and Skt. Jørgens Gaard. Breakfast at Café Plateau is included in your stay. There is free WiFi, and the rooms do not have a TV.

A simple choice when you travel alone. The room has a single bed, private bathroom and access to a shared terrace with an area where you can sit.

Dogs at Grevens Dal
Dogs are welcome in the annex for a fee of DKK 450 per stay. Choose a room in the annex and let us know about your dog when you book.

Location – high on the cliffs

Grevens Dal sits high on the cliffs, just 50 metres from Gudhjem harbour, where the boat to Christiansø departs. Brøddegade with its shops, cafés and restaurants is a few minutes' walk away, and from the terrace you can see the town and the Baltic Sea. Early in the morning you can watch the sun rise out of the sea.

Café Plateau at the hotel

Café Plateau is at Grevens Dal. Breakfast for hotel guests is served here every day from 7 to 10 – on the terrace overlooking the Baltic Sea when the weather allows. Café Plateau also serves brunch Friday–Sunday from 10 to 13 and dinner Wednesday–Sunday from 17.30 to 21.30. Book a table at cafeplateau.dk.

Parking at Grevens Dal

Grevens Dal has 15 free parking spaces, which cannot be reserved. If they are taken, you can park for free at the petrol station or in the large car park by Brugsen.

Reception at Førder

Reception is in the Førder shop at Brøddegade 28. Førder and reception share the same space, so while we help you with your stay you can browse Bornholm products, gifts and clothing. Reception is open 9–17, and 9–21 during the summer holidays. You can always write to info@hotelklippen.dk.

Arrival and check-out

Check-in is from 15:00. Your key will be waiting in your room door, so you can check in whenever it suits you. Check-out is by 10:00 at the latest – just leave the key in the door. If you need help, you will find us at reception at Førder.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, but only in the annex. The dog supplement is DKK 450 per stay and is selected when you book.

Which rooms have a sea view?

The cliff rooms, the ground-floor double rooms and the double rooms in the annex facing the sea have a sea view. The double rooms in the main building on the 1st floor have a direct or partial sea view. Views vary within each category.

Do all rooms have their own bathroom?

Yes. In the double rooms in the main building on the 1st floor, your private shower and toilet are across the corridor from the room.

Is there a TV in the rooms?

No, but there is free WiFi. You are welcome to use the hotel's two honesty bars.

Is there room for a family?

Yes. The family room sleeps up to four people, with two bedrooms, a private bathroom, a kitchen and a private terrace overlooking the Baltic Sea.
