Gudhjem Swimming Pool
The swimming pool has a 25-metre pool at 28°C, a water slide, a 1-metre springboard and a 3-metre diving tower. From the pool there is a view over the coast towards Svaneke. Address: Sportsvænget 16, 3760 Gudhjem. Opening hours and prices can be found at the swimming pool.
Swimming from the rocks at Nørresand
West of the harbour, the rocks and skerries go all the way down into the water. Locals swim from the rocks here – the water is clear and gets deep quickly. Wear water shoes, the rocks can be slippery.
The sandy beach in Melsted
Follow the coastal path south from Gudhjem and you will soon reach the small sandy beach in Melsted with shallow water and a small island out in the bay. A good place for families with children.
Good to know
There are no lifeguards at the swimming spots in Gudhjem, so swimming is at your own risk. Never swim alone from the rocks. Afterwards you can warm up with a hot drink in Jylkat.
