Meet the staff
The majority of the staff live on Bornholm and have lots of insider knowledge about the island. They all want to give you a memorable stay at Hotel Klippen, so please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Maiken
Maiken is our "real" Bornholmer (and you can clearly hear that!).
She has the wildest sense of making things look delicious and is a world champion at solving urgent problems with a smile on her face.
You will find Maiken at the reception/Førder.

Henriette
Henriette is a “Førder” (mover) and is married to a native of Bornholm.
She is a numeracy nerd and has extensive experience in the restaurant industry. Among other things, Henriette has managed a hotel in India.
You can find Henriette all over the place.
Igor
Igor is a "Førder" (newcomer), but has lived on Bornholm for many years.
He is our super cool handyman who keeps the gardens neat, repairs everything that breaks and continuously renovates the hotels.
You can find Igor just about everywhere.
Nicoline
Nicoline is from Bornholm and became a student this summer. Big congratulations!
She does the cleaning/preparation at both Klippen, Klippen By and Therns. And she is Maiken's daughter. Can you see that?

Liva
Live er opvokset på Bornholm og er ikke bange for at tage fat.
Hun er meget serviceminded og sørger altid for at butikken / receptionen er præsentabel, når du kommer på besøg.

Althea
Althea er opvokset på Bornholm og er enorm hjælpsom.
Hun havde et sommerjob hos os i 2023 i butikken / receptionen. Heldigvis er hun med på holdet igen i 2024. Og det er vi så glade for.

Cecilie
Cecilie er opvokset på Bornholm og har arbejdet hos os i mange år.
Hendes mange års erfaring i butikken / receptionen betyder, at hun kan svare på de fleste spørgsmål - og hun gør det altid med et smil.

Oliver
Oliver bor på Bornholm og er forpagter af ”Cafe Plateau” på Klippen.
Det er ham, der kokkerere din morgenmad, og det er han mega dygtig til. Vi får ofte af vide, at han laver den bedste brunch på Bornholm.

Christie
Christie is also a tenant of "Cafe Plateau" and is in love with Oliver.
She is the one who makes sure you get a beautifully prepared breakfast.
She is very service-minded and a perfectionist - and she is SO sweet.
You will find Christie in the restaurant at Klippen.
Martin
Martin is from Copenhagen with a great love for Bornholm.
He has had a house in Gudhjem for 21 years, is married to Jannie and co-owner of Klippen and Therns. He is not an active part of the operation, but spars on various projects.
You can find Martin by following the sound. He speaks very loudly, so it can be heard throughout Gudhjem.

Jannie
Jannie is from Jutland, but loves Bornholm and is the director of Klippen and Therns.
She grew up in the hotel and restaurant industry and has always dreamed of owning her own hotel. That's why she bought Klippen og Therns together with her husband Martin.
You'll find Jannie all over the place. She's super sweet, even if she's a little shy.
